This course is geared for foster/adoptive and step parents. Adopted adults are also included in this group. Circle of Security is a different approach to parent education because it does not focus on parenting skills, but instead focuses on the parent-child relationship and what the child's behaviors are communicating about what they need from the parent. Parents will learn how to read their child's cues and respond individually and effectively. When they "fall off the circle" they will learn how to repair the relationship.
